Its Easter again. This is the first year that Tz began to understand the fun of Easter celebration with his school painting eggs, egg hunt, etc. And of course, I have to waste quite a few cartons of eggs for him to bring to school. Been eating eggs breakfast, lunch and dinner….
But I am equally as excited as Tz too because I will be taking a break from making bentos for him for 2 weeks starting tomorrow. We are heading off for Easter Break in Japan to ski and enjoy sakura in spring, Yipee! and thats the theme for today’s bento:
Easter Bunny on ski harvesting for Easter eggs
Bunny – Japanese fish cake, carrots, sushi rice and nori
Base – sushi rice partially layered with minced meat
Easter egg garden – coloured rice, nori, broccoli, ham, edamame, thai brown rice crackers and edible flowers.
